Hello, my traveler friends! (Or should I call you… Hunters? 😉) This is Your K-Friend at K.RIDE! 💖
Are you completely obsessed with the “K-Pop Demon Hunters” movie and planning your dream trip to Seoul? You’ve come to the perfect place!
Get ready to follow in the footsteps of Rumi and Jinu as they battled demons and explored their feelings against Seoul’s most beautiful backdrops. 🌙 In this guide, I’ll share all those real-life magical spots (yes, they’re real!) and my personal list of secret local foodie finds right nearby.
Let’s go hunt down those spots! ✨

📍 Spot #1: Naksan Park Fortress Wall (An Unforgettable Night Date 🌙)
Okay, let’s talk about that scene! 😭
After Rumi gets the note from that adorable tiger spirit, Duffy, she meets Jinu right here at the Naksan Park Fortress Wall. This is where they finally start to open up to each other, and my heart just… melted!

- Location: 54 Naksan-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
What to Expect: This spot is a total local secret, famous for its breathtaking night views. The ancient city wall glows under the lights, and the panoramic view of Seoul sparkling below is just… WOW. It’s incredibly magical and romantic, perfect for a peaceful stroll just like Rumi and Jinu had.
💡 My K-Friend Tips (for the park):
- Wear comfy shoes! 👟 The park is on a hill (that’s why the view is so good!), so you’ll be doing a bit of walking.
- Go at sunset! I recommend arriving about 30 minutes before sunset. You get to see the sky change colors and the city lights turn on. It’s the best of both worlds!
- Best Photo Spot 📸: Walk along the fortress wall towards the south-east for the best unobstructed view of the Lotte World Tower and the city center.

🍜 K-Friend’s Food Pick Nearby (Daehakro Area)
After your walk, you’ll definitely be hungry! The park is right next to a lively neighborhood called Daehakro (think of it as Seoul’s “Off-Broadway” theater district), and it’s full of amazing, affordable food.
Here’s a spot that’s truly special:
- Gyehyang-gak (계향각)
- What to Expect: A high-quality Chinese restaurant from a renowned food expert! It’s perfect for a unique course meal that feels extra special.
- Location: 86, Dongsung-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul

- What to Expect: Sometimes you just need a good pizza, right? This is an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria with a real wood-fired oven imported from Italy!
- Location: 86, Dongsung-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- 💡 My K-Friend Tip: The Stella Pizza (it’s star-shaped!) is famous, but you can never go wrong with a classic Margherita.

📍 Spot #2: Bukchon Hanok Village (Singing ‘Free’ on the Rooftops 🎶)
Ah, this scene. When Rumi and Jinu are hiding out, talking about their true feelings, and then sing “Free” on that hanok rooftop… it gives me chills! 😭 This is that magical place!
- Location: 37 Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
What to Expect: This is a real residential village with hundreds of traditional Korean houses, or ‘Hanoks.’ Walking through the beautiful, quiet alleys feels like you’ve stepped back in time. The views from the top of the hill (where the best photo spots are) are incredible! 📸
💡 My K-Friend Tips (for the village):
- ✅ Be a ‘Quiet Guest’ (Most Important!): This is my #1 tip! Real people, including many lovely grandparents, live here. Please be respectful, keep your voice down (we say ‘sok-dak sok-dak’ 🤫 in Korean), and avoid sitting on steps or peaking into gates.
- ✅ Wear Your Best Walking Shoes: Trust me on this! This village is all charming (but steep!) hills and old cobblestone streets. Leave the high heels at the hotel for this one!

🍜 K-Friend’s Food Pick Nearby (Anguk Area)
After hiking those hills, you’ve earned a real meal. This spot is super popular with locals and just a short walk away.
- Silla Jemyeon (신라제면 안국점)

- Kkangtong Mandu (깡통만두)
- What to Expect: A famous dumpling restaurant with over 30 years of history! Their handmade dumplings (mandu) are amazing.
- Location: 5-6, Bukchon-ro 2-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- 💡 My K-Friend Tip: On a cold day, the Mandu-jeongol (dumpling hot pot) is perfect. It’s rich, spicy, and so hearty.

- Cheonha Bossam (천하보쌈)
- What to Expect: This restaurant specializes in Bossam—a classic Korean dish of tender steamed pork served with spicy kimchi and vegetables.
- Location: 8, Changdeokgung 1-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- 💡 My K-Friend Tip: If it’s in season (usually fall/winter), try the Oyster Bossam! The combination is fantastic.

- Jinjja Kaki (진작카키)
- What to Expect: A very modern and cool Korean dining spot. They call themselves the “K-Oyster” brand and focus on super fresh ingredients.
- Location: 38, Changdeokgung 1-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- 💡 My K-Friend Tip: If you love seafood, get the Plate of Oysters. If not, the Uni Perilla Oil Buckwheat Noodles are unique and so delicious.

- Yongsu-san (용수산 비원점)
- What to Expect: Want a really elegant, high-end experience? This restaurant serves a modern version of traditional Korean royal court cuisine. It’s beautiful!
- Location: 2, Changdeokgung 1-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- 💡 My K-Friend Tip: This is the place to go for a full-course Hanjeongsik (Korean set meal). It’s perfect for a special occasion.

🚖 Travel Between Spots with Ease!
Okay, I know what you’re thinking! “K-Friend, Naksan Park is on a hill, and those Bukchon alleys look confusing… How do I visit them all?” 😥
Hopping between all these spots by subway or bus can be a hassle, especially after dark when you’re tired from all that exploring.
That’s why I truly recommend using K.RIDE! It’s the taxi-hailing app from Kakao Mobility, designed just for international travelers like you. It makes getting around Seoul so simple and stress-free.
Why I Personally Love K.RIDE for My Friends:
